Rilmac Scaffolding were contracted to provide access scaffolding during the building of the new Travelodge Lincoln. They were responsible for the external envelope of the plus the internal staircases and lift shaft scaffolds.
RG Carter site manager Shaun Allerton’s comments:
“Due to the pace of the project and the importance of the superstructure, the external programme dates were critical. Rilmac were proactive in their planning to ensure deadlines were achieved, working closely with our site team and following trades
The continuity of Rilmac’s labour assisted with the smooth running of the site. Our site team and supply chain are able to communicate more effectively with teams that they know and trust.
With the high profile location of our project the visual impact is crucial for our continued reputation. This was enhanced by the high quality scaffolding material used throughout the project and the dress code of Rilmac’s work force who set a high bench mark for the construction industry.
Rilmac worked collaboratively with us to design the scaffolding throughout the construction phase. Rilmac offered detailed, robust and accurate design in a timely manner to ensure the works continuity.”
