Project Location: Boston Grammar School, Boston
Type of Project: Insulation of all newly installed internal and external heating pipework.
New external pipework was completed using phenolic insulation with a factory applied silver Ventureclad covering, with joint sealed with matching Ventureclad tape, complete with identification banding.
New internal pipework was completed using factory applied foiled faced phenolic insulation, sealed with matching tape and protected with grey isogenopak sheeting, secured with nylon rivets, complete with identification banding.
Areas where it was not achievable to use previously stated methods such as valves and flanges, removable jackets were fitted and manufactured from a grey silicone cloth with a mineral wool insulation filling secured with Velcro and drawstrings.
