PROGRESSING TOWARDS PORTERBROOK 3 PEAKS CHALLENGE

Team member Jess Sanders took a break from her honeymoon and entered the Yorkshire Three Peaks in January alongside her new husband.  Now that’s dedication!

The Rilmac team entering this year’s Porterbrook 3 Peaks Challenge for the Railway Children Charity are making steady progress towards both of their goals; training for the event and raising funds.

Team member Jess Sanders took a break from her honeymoon and entered the Yorkshire Three Peaks in January alongside her new husband.  Now that’s dedication!  January also saw Rilmac Insulation Managing Director Michael Woods give up on his snacks and donate the money he saved to the campaign.

Earlier in February around 30 Rilmac office employees donated £2 each for an opportunity to dress down one Friday.  They have also been digging deep for a sponsored leg wax, which will take place in early March.  Business Development Manager, Rob Harris, and Contracts Manager, Dave Mason, are both looking to raise as much money as they can for the Railway Children.  The one who raises the least will face a leg wax.

If you would like to sponsor Rob or Dave please contact Jess Sanders at j.sanders@rilmac.co.uk with your pledge and she will ensure you are added to the list.  Family friendly images of the event will be shared via Rilmac social media.

All Rilmac staff are being encouraged to get involved with the campaign, either joining in training hikes, or raising funds through sponsored runs, cake bakes or any other innovative money-making scheme.  As these events are confirmed they will be shared on the Rilmac website and social media.  Watch this space!
